This report is one that will gladden your heart, increase your faith, and bring a spirit of thanksgiving to your heart. If you h ave been following these reports you know that Rhonda has faced incredible challenges during the last nine weeks. She has been near death several times and it appeared that normal life was out of reach. Praise the Lord, the actual story is now much different. Rhonda is gaining strength and new skills every day. Her world now consists of “Physical & Occupational Therapy.” For nearly two weeks she has been at Regency of Shelby Township, a skilled nursing and rehabilitation center. The staff there is helping her to work on regaining the lost skills of sitting up, standing, and walking. In the hospital she had only stood a few times, with great assistance. Since arriving at Regency she is now standing every day, spending hours sitting in a chair, and now she has begun walking! Every day she takes more steps. She is now able to walk most of the distance across the Physical and Occupational Therapy Center with the aid of a walker. Rhonda is using the equipment in the center to build up the strength in her arms and legs so that she can return home and be able to function as normal. We are so thankful to the Lord for His mercy and grace to allow her to make these improvements.

Rhonda is in great spirits. She is back on the “family text chain” sharing events with the family. She especially enjoys “Grand Kid Therapy!” It is a joy for her to interact with the family. Please continue to pray for her continued recovery.

Specific Prayer Requests:

  1. Rhonda’s strength to increase

  2. For her to be able stand, and remain standing, without assistance

  3. For her to be able to walk normally

  4. Finances to cover the medical and other expenses

  5. Strength and health for the family as we help Rhonda.

We would like to thank all of you for praying for Rhonda and our family. We are so grateful for your prayers, love and support.

God is always good. He is only good.
