Today, on July 4, 2019, I could not help but think upon the words of “The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag.”
The Pledge of Allegiance to our nation’s flag reads as follows:
“I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.”
While our society is constantly trying to rewrite history and deny the incredible events that led to the founding of this great nation we must strongly reaffirm that we are a nation…Under God!
Psalm 33:12 Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance.
We must remember that we are a nation, “Under God.” Truly without Him, America would not be a nation!
We are a nation Under God.

Missing Mom today! Three years ago, today, on April 1, 2016, my sweet mother, Patricia Brandenburg, stepped into the presence of her Saviour. She was, and is, my hero. She was a great example of a lady, and even more, she was an example of what a Christian should be. When I preached her memorial service, I made many statements about her that described the characteristics of her life that reveal her commitment to Christ, the ministry, and her family.
